Angelica Fuentes is a Manager of Professional Learning at UChicago Impact. Fuentes works closely with the Assistant Director and Director of College Success on the sustainability efforts for the Success Project and the development of 6to16 trainings for internal and external partners. Additionally, Fuentes provides support for staff members who are implementing the project at their respective schools.
Fuentes most recently served as a Success Coordinator where she provided overall implementation of the Success Project to a high-need neighborhood middle school in Chicago. She provided direct instruction to 6th-8th-grade students, coaching support for other instructors, in-person On Track data analytics and monitoring, one-on-one advising to 8th-grade students applying to their best fit and match high school, and provided training and professional development for school personnel and partners.
Prior to joining UEI, Angelica Fuentes worked as a 6th-8th-grade Special Education teacher at MS 324 in New York City, and a part-time Academic Specialist for Children’s Aid Society. She has a Bachelor's Degree from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, and a Master of Science in Special Education from CUNY City College in New York.
