UChicago Impact at the University of Chicago is committed to protecting the privacy of the users of all UChicago Impact sites. Data Security Policy

UChicago Impact employees a number of strategies to secure data and limit unnecessary access during the transfer, storage, and processing of data. We encrypt data in transfer as well as at rest, when it is being stored in their data repository. We change encryption keys on a regular basis to avoid stale credentials and unwanted legacy access. Data is regularly obfuscated for analytics and reporting purposes in aggregated, rolled up at the classroom, instructor, school or district level. UChicago uses data isolation and centralized oversight of user accounts and monitors access across our systems with auditable logs.
