Al Bertani

Al Bertani serves as a senior consultant for the Urban Education Institute. He is responsible for organization development and strategic planning across the units that comprise UEI.

Bertani supports the leadership development and integration efforts of UEI's Senior Leadership Team and Management Team. He assists the University of Chicago Consortium on School Research with planning, institute design, and leadership development. He designs and conducts training for UChicago Impact, serving the needs of the University of Chicago Charter School and the Chicago Public Schools. He also facilitates program integration efforts across the University of Chicago Urban Teacher Education Program and the University of Chicago Charter School.

Bertani holds an M.Ed. in educational leadership and Ed.D. in curriculum and instruction from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois.
